To protect your account, we have begun monitoring your ATM and debit card transactions for potentially fraudulent activity, which may include a sudden change in locale, a sudden string of costly purchases, or any pattern associated with new fraud trends around the world.

During the implementation stage of this fraud protection product (45-60 days), your card could be restricted from use as a credit (signature-based) transaction even if fraud is not actually occurring on your account. If this happens you should be able to use your card as a debit transaction (pin-based) until you can contact the bank and have the restriction removed. If you do not know your pin number, please call the bank to have one reordered.

If we suspect fraudulent ATM or debit card use, we’ll be calling you to validate the legitimacy of your transactions. Your participation in responding to our call is critical to prevent potential risk and to avoid restrictions we may place on the use of your card. We will only ask you to verify recent activity on your card. We will not ask you for your card number, pin or any other account information.

Our goal, quite simply, is to minimize your exposure to risk and the impact of any fraud. To ensure we can continue to reach you whenever potential fraud is detected, please keep us informed of your correct phone number and address at all times.
